Shot this last month at my farm near Bandipur, the kingfisher had just taken a dip in the pond before I shot this.

Beautiful composition. The bird is lovely... The background takes my heart away... I would open up the shadows a bit more to expose the eye better... Lovely image...

Nice one. The light was from the right and hence the eye portion is in the shadow. It needs a slight boost in brightness and opening up the exposure. A slight head turn towards you would have enhanced the eye contact. The background looks good.

Nice close up. The wet look gives a different feel to the image. The BG is clean and compliments the bird. Nice composition and perch.
