Sambhar at padam talao

Sambhar with fresh grown antlers foraging while submerged in the padam talao, ranthambhore. A cattle egret happily hitches a ride and the beautiful setting sun casts magical light on the sambhar.

Lovely image... But wait. is that a Tiger in the background? Would have liked more space in the direction of the sambar but then ud have missed the 'tiger'... Great sighting...

Soft light. There is a tiger in the background and this fellow doesn't seem to be aware. :D

Yes the tiger caught my attention too. Agree about bit more sharpness and some more space on the right. Could you photograph the tiger?

Dipankar nice image of the Sambar & Egret, Egret could have been more sharp, probably not in focus.

Was the composition intentional with Tiger at BG? Or as Sabyasachi mentioned you did not notice it. If you have shot the Tiger separately pl share them.

I was referring to the Sambar. I meant that the Sambar is not aware of the tiger. I had seen similar instances when the Sambar had no clue about a tiger was passing nearby.
