Cheetal chewing Plastic packet

Dear All,
I came across this sight in Bandipur Tiger Reserve, near the main road. This cheetal had found a wafers packet and was chewing it. Herbivores like to chew these wafers packets - carelessly thrown away by tourists - due to the salt content. At times they are known to swallow the plastic packet and die.

This is very unfortunate. We are replacing the natural resources with artificial and harmful elements.

terrible..... this is what we are doing to our environment,..... !!!
soon we will have only stories of how rich an animal world we had..... coz we would have killed them all with our callous attitude....
People who litter should be heavily penalised....
