Owl horizontal

I had posted the vertical version of the same owl earlier. Keoladeo Ghana in Bharatpur.

800mm optical focal length, Tripod, ISO 800, f8, 1/80, full frame.

I like this one too. It is sharp. Wonder what the colouring is near the tail !! There seems to be a bit of noise in the Background... Overall, Lovely...

The round spot is a portion of the sky. I missed noticing that while clicking. :D

I was too concerned about the sharpness aspect as the shutter speed was low. I was using mirror lock up. And was slowly moving ahead my tripod inch by inch.

This image has the white feathers of the owl as well as the complete dark tree (it was very nearly on the verge of losing the details in the shadows). So the camera had a tough task in terms of dynamic range. Didn't do any noise reduction, apart from the default in lightroom.

Nice composition. The bark in the BG compliments the bird. Nice perch. Wish it had its eyes a bit more open.
