It seems light was low. I would leave some more space at the top. Increasing the fill light and opening up the shadows would further strengthen this image. Eye contact is fine.

I agree with Sabyasachi. More space on the top would have enhanced the image.

Lovely eye contact. Wish the light was more on the face. Nice texture on the bark. Sharp image. Agree about the space on the top.
