Nice catch. There is a bright highlight in the background. If possible, moving a step to the left would have helped as the bird would have shielded a portion of the bright patch. We all know that there are chances of the kingfisher flying off if you are moving. So better to click a shot or two and then take a step to move into a better position. I know that it is not in your hand, but a natural perch would have been good.

Lovely photograph. The catch is a bonus. Liked the eye contact and the colours. Sharp. A natural perch would have enhanced the image further.

Good sharp image.
A white throated kingfisher will never present itself for photo and many photographers admit that King fishers are the most difficult birds to shoot.

Nice bird. The catch looks nice. The background might need some toning down. agree abt the perch

Nice one there Jitendra, the catch adds to the whole compo, agree with others that a natural perch would have been great.
I think the white breasted KF is now called as White Throated KF
