Brahminy kite was my first post at Indiawilds, I am posting it again on my
250th post:). Now I have an opportunity to process in LR and learn the differences and mistakes I had made before.

Shot this near my farm in Bandipur under good light.

Canon 40D, 100-400mm L IS USM, ISO 400, f6.3, 1/2000

Congratulations Praveen on hitting 250 so soon. Your learning curve has been amazingly steep. The image definitely looks much better now... I would reduce the saturation a bit, the skies seem a bit too blue :)

Bibhav, thanks I did realize abt the saturation, however if I reduce more then the image looks BW, so I have reduced a bit and posting it again.

The re-post looks better. The image is sharp and the details have come to nicely. An off-centre composition would have enhanced it further.

This is nice. The image was good to start with. The post-processing has brought out the details well. The image is sharp.
