Shikra ??? id please...

Shot this while returning back from Bandipur last weekend on the roadside. I am not sure if this is a Shikra, experts pl id, thanks

Yup it is a Shikra. Looks like a Female... I might consider tilting the image so that the shikra is vertical. It seems tilted.. I like the sharp eyes...

Thanks Bibhav, the Shikra positioned in funny way, not sure how it was able to balance. I don't think the image is tilted, however I will reconfirm.

The Eye is sharp. In birds, it becomes difficult to know about tilt, as most of the times no reference is available. At times they twist and tilt their heads as well. Thanks for sharing.
