Shot this while trekking a small hill at Doddamakali on Sunday.

Doddamakali is a Bird watchers’ paradise, with river cauvery flowing all along, this location is approx 120 kms from Bangalore. The place is the habitat of more than 200 species of birds. Among the water-based birds, you can spot the pied kingfisher, spot billed duck, black-bellied river tern, osprey, and the gray-headed fish eagle and many more.

I did manage to take few shot of Grey headed fish eagle will share them soon...

That is a nicely composed image. The water leads the eye into the image nicely. The clouds look good too.

Nice composition. Liked the river flowing through the mountains. The clouds formations are nice, plus there is some reflection in the river. Thanks for the information. Keep posting..

Hi Praveen,

Nice composition :D Just wondering how it would look if you increase the contrast ..

The composition is nice. The framing is well thought out. The inclusion of the foreground elements nicely frames it. The shadows on the leaves on the left slightly diminishes the attention. Composing this image in the morning would have helped in removing the shadows. Overall, this looks nice.

Cheers,
