excellent use of dof....could have avoided the flower in the left corner..some more flowers in the bg[oof] would have been interesting....

Nice work. Agree about excluding the flower on the left. A slightly brighter image would have been better in my opinion.

Different composition. Liked the combination of green and yellow. Nice use of dof. Look forward to more..

Hello Dr Jitendra,

By looking at your picture I can visualize what a pleasant sight it would have been to see these flowers in real.

The green and yellow contrasts have come out well.

I feel having a slightly higher DOF such that the flower on the left too is in focus (along with the two on the right) and everything behind a little more defined but still fuzzy would have enhanced the image further

Please do excuse me if I have managed to confuse you :D

Thanks for sharing
Anu

This is a lovely image. I like the selective depth of field. Infact, the reason why the Canon 5D Mark II camera became more famous was for the full frame HD videos. Film makers salivated at the prospect of using selective depth of field to get that film look. It might be pertinent to mention here that the video cameras with smaller sensors give much more depth of field. The full frame sensor allows for a shallow depth of field.

I agree with Praveen that without the out of focus flower on the left the image would have been much stronger. A single flower on the right and the tree on the left would have been fantastic. It is not easy composing, as one needs to find one single flower.

Keep on experimenting and sharing with us. I really liked this image.

Cheers,
