Tigress with a male Sambar kill. This image was taken at evening when sun was seting right behind the tigress. So I stop shooting and this image was shot after complete sunset.

Very self explanatory photograph. Liked the direct eye contact of the tiger. Would like to see more from the series.

Nicely composed. The noise is evident, but in such a moment, getting the shot properly is vital so it is not an issue. I like the image overall. Thanks for sharing...

Hello Atul,

Firstly, thanks for posting this. I had been eagerly waiting for the next in the series shot since the day you posted the first one. It was in my to-do list to send you a reminder had you not posted it in the next 2-3 days :D

wonderful image. It gives a chance to lesser mortals like us to remotely enjoy these wildlife experiences.

Thanks for posting. Do post more of your tiger shots

Thanks
Anu

Hi Atul,

Would also like to know whether the kill happened there or was the sambhar dragged to that spot. The terrain is very uneven and rocky and would have favoured the tiger in the chase. Also the size of the sambhar is substantial- it would have easily been more than twice the size of the tigress, which makes the kill even more interesting.
