Shot this while leaving the camp at Doddamakali on sunday, it was interesting to see most of the bird species having mud bath in the evening around 6pm, shot few of them. This image does not show exact behaviour of mud bath by Chestnut Headed Bee Eaters. I have some other images of the same birds that show the mud bath I will share them later...

Beautiful birds... more DOF would have been nice... Any reason why they are all facing in one direction?

Colourful birds. I guess you were photographing from a vehicle. More space at the bottom and less at the top would have ensured that the lone bird at the top looking in the other direction could have been avoided. However, there might have been vegetation on the foreground and I am not sure whether including more space at the bottom would have been distracting due to the vegetation.

Composing an image with only the group of three birds is another option. At times, less is more. Hmmm... What a profound statement coming early in the morning. :D
