It was a sudden sighting, so forgot to increase the ISO or change the aperture. Wish the stick in front was not present, but there was no way of avoiding that.

Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, 1/25, f8, ISO 200

It is good that you used f8. Better to try for more depth of field in circumstances where lot of vegetation is close behind the subject. Sharpness is good despite 1/25th of second.

The composition is nice. It is sharp for 1/25 sec. A little more space at the bottom would be nice.

good sharpness despite slow shutter,..is there slight blue cast over the image ?
