The parallels formed with the stalks is nice. Wish for more sharpness... Thanks for sharing. The pose is nice and as mentioned, the worm is a plus.

The bird is nicely framed by the stalks. The worm is definitely good both for the bird as well as the photographer. :D I think this is the max that one can achieve with the compact camera. It is not easy to shoot subjects, that occupy a small part of the image with a compact camera. You have made the most out of it. A DSLR and a telephoto lens would have given you a much better quality in the same situation. Thanks for sharing.
