The same image which Sabyasachi posted earlier. I tried for a central composition with the thorny branches on both the sides. Since it was patient for quite sometime, I could experiment with different compositions.

Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, ISO 200, f6.3, 1/800, hand held, full frame.

Look forward to your comments and critiques..

I like the symmetry of the perch. I like this image.

I liked the symmetrical branches. At times, a smaller focal length is good as one can look at creating environmental images. Also, it helps in capturing the bird when it flies away.

I would have tried to capture some more of the thorns at the bottom. Overall, a nice image.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

loved the side turn...If you'll remove some portion from top. It will enhance the raptor and composition as well as horizontal perch. We call it negative space in art... :)

All best wishes,

Cheers, Rahul
