I would have liked the bird to be slightly to the right in the frame. The light was harsh so the highlights have been blown... Recover those and this is a good image.

Nice composition. I feel the sky is a bit too blue for my taste, you can try reducing the saturation a bit. Agree about the harsh light. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with the previous comments. The eye contact is fine. The saturation is high, so the sky has appeared deep blue. Lower saturation would be better in this case. The depth of field is fine. Wish for better light. Thanks for sharing.
