The bird is sharp. Would have liked more eye contact. Also when composing it is better to have the bird fly into the frame, ie give it more space in the direction it is flying into.

Nice take-off shot. Eye contact would have enhanced the image further. Do post the ISO, Aperture and shutter speed details, to help in commenting. The leaves in the beak are a plus. Keep posting..

It is always good to start with the relatively slow moving pelicans for the birds in flight images. There is a very narrow zone when the eye contact with the bird is good. The wing spread is good here. Unfortunately, the pelican has moved away from you. Wish to see some images from you with the pelican moving towards you. Thanks for sharing.
