I like the eye contact. The prey is not visible due to the grass. However, a chunk of flesh is visible in its mouth. That enhances the image. The Kestrel was near the vehicle, so the shooting angle was not eye level. Else, that would have enhanced the intimacy of the image.

Nov-Dec'09 seems Kestrel Season:), this bird is so beautiful each time you see the more you feel clicking images in different angles. I like this image, a low angle would have been nice and with a catch would have been great.
