This one crossed our jeep and ran, its leg was hurt and it was limping. Just managed to photograph it before it ran off.

Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, ISO 400, f8, 1/50, hand held.

It is good that you got eye contact. The f8 aperture has helped as well. The hind leg gives the idea of motion. Thanks for sharing.
