Nice simple compo.
This seems to be a Wood Sandpiper(?).
Spotted Sandpiper mostly has visible dark spots on throat and belly.

Nice clean background. The eye contact is good. Depth of field is good. The angle is also low and nice. I think if the bird were slightly to the left, then the composition would have been even better. I checked my old Salim Ali, and it says wood or spotted sandpiper. May be others can check their bird books and confirm.
