Nice image. I would have liked a bit more space on top. You could have tried using a lower ISO (if possible).

Nice composition. Liked the low angle and the patterns in the water. The eye contact is fine. Look forward to more.

I like the low angle. Where was this photographed? A higher shutter speed is better if you are photographing from a boat. Which lens did you use? Nikon 500mm? Look forward to more.

Hi Sabyasachi..

Thanks
I used Sigma 150-500mm lens. It was photographed in Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary.

Hi Sadananda,
Most of the lenses are sharp at one stop higher than the widest lens opening. I have never tested the Nikon version of that lens. However, I have been told that the lens is sharper at f8 than at f6.3. You may conduct tests yourself to validate that.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Hi Sabyasachi,

Thanks a lot for this input. I had read this in some reviews but never practiced it. I shall try ur advise.
Some times even f6.3 itself allows a very slow shutter speed. I wonder how would f8 be. I think I have to increase the ISO to get higher shutter speeds and sharp image.

Thanks
Sadanand.
