A deadening stare. A narrower aperture would have been better. The composition is nice.

Have always seen gaur with symmetrical horns. This is the first time I have seen a gaur with crippled horn.

Uploading a cropped version of the same shot to show the head so that depth of field issue becomes clear.

I too was surprised when I saw the horn during processing. Had not noticed it during photographing.
