Black Buck in Nilgiris slopes

There was a bush in front of us that came in-between the black buck male. Really enjoyed the sighting.

Nice environmental image. Liked the low angle and the eye contact. The shutter speed was 1/500, so I think reducing the ISO a bit, would have given less noise and the shutter speed would have been sufficient to photograph the buck. Look forward to more..

I was in Satyamangalam and understand how scared these blackbucks are. So it is good that you got the blackbuck relatively in the open. Wish the bush had not partially blocked the eyes. The low angle is good. Nice colours.

Nice shot. Good depiction of the habitat too. Do avoid the high ISO speeds, compacts can't handle them.

I like the horns of the blackbuck. Would have preferred more space above and less below. An offcentred composition would have helped, had the shrub on the left been absent.
