The low angle makes the image engaging. The eye contact is nice. You can tone down the whites in the head a bit more. You are now ready for a DSLR. :D

Agree with Sabyasachi. Nice low angle. Toning down the highlights will make the image lovely. I feel a less cropped image (with more space all around) will look better.

Yes, the reason of crop is : there was a plastic substance towards downward direction of the photo. So had to crop is accordingly.
