I don't think you required the f14. You could have used a lower f stop as well with a faster shutter speed. It looks as if the egret has posed in front of a blackboard.

Nice try , Rajan. I can see atleast4 big blobs of dust on this one. Time to clean your sensor ;)

I've noticed that you tend to use very narrow apertures (but why?). This is not only causing you to lose shutter speed resulting in soft images, but also blows out the whites as it has done in this one and shows up the dust on your sensor. Try varying your aperture between f/5.6 and f/8-11 depending on availability of light, required depth of field, etc.
