Lovely close-up. The low angle and the eye contact is good. The details on the feathers are nice. Would have loved some more space all around. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with the above comments. I find the crop a bit tight. Tight crops are only useful for identification purposes.

It is important to level your tripod else, when you pan the camera, the frame gets tilted. Some of the tripods come with a bubble level indicator. Others can use a bubble level/ spirit level attached to the flash bracket of the camera.

Hi all,
This is full frame image and no cropped at all. I was sitting in a portable hide and this Sandpiper came too close to me.
