Tiger (Male) @ Bandipur

Shot this male tiger yesterday (Saturday the 16th Jan'10) morning @ 8:30am, we tracked its pug marks first, later heard alarm calls by Langur and after 2 hours our persitance paid off and finally we were blessed to sight this big fellow @ Basavanna Katte. This time my MD & his family who travelled all the way from Pune accompanied me to Bandipur with a hope to see a tiger as he had not seen a tiger in the wild, I managed to fulfill his wishes:):):)

A nice image. I like it peering from behind the tree. A slight boost in contrast might look better. Thanks for sharing.

Sighting a tiger is always an awesome experience. Sighting it in Bandipur is even better. And sighting a tiger along with your boss is just mindblowing. :thumbup::drool::D:D I am sure the celebrations will happen soon. :D
