I am happy to present the first images made by a Mark IV camera in India.

Yesterday I had posted a ISO 1600 shot from the Mark IV with minimal processing. http://www.indiawilds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2997

Now posting an image with a stop higher ISO.

Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 400mm F2.8 L IS USM, EF 2xII, f8, 1/4000, ISO 3200, full frame image. I increased the exposure by 1/3 stop during post processing. Apart from that the rest of the settings are Lightroom 2.6 default settings.

Look forward to your comments and critiques.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Sabyasachi, this is absolutely fantastic stuff. Look forward to 6400, 12800 and so on... :)
Great image too. Love that eye.

Abhishek,
As far as my photographic requirements are concerned, I don't think I will go beyond ISO 3200. However, I will test all the ISOs over a period of time.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Sabyasachi this is fantastic, seems a very powerful gun:thumbup:
More space in front would have got you the full reflection.

Nice details. Very little noise even with ISO 3200. So the ISO performance looks very nice in Mark IV. Waiting to see more.

Like the composition. A bit more saturation maybe to bring out the green in the eye...
The ISO 3200 looks awesome... :D

The Mark IV files are good straight out of the camera and need very less processing. I did the most basic processing, so that you all can get an idea about the image that comes out of Mark IV. I find the high ISO files to be good provided you get the exposure right. I will use the ISO 3200 sparingly, the way I use the ISO 800 in my 1D Mark II. Will form my opinion after some more testing.

Cheers,
