Shot at Sangameshwar. Since the bird was relaxing I thought I can lower the ISO and take a steady shot. I took about 5 min to get closer to this bird without disturing it. Finally patience paid off.

Lovely image, the colors have come well and the eye contact is nice.

Lovely perch and nice clear background. A slight head turn towards would have been great. The colours and details are nice. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with the previous comments. The background is nicely diffused. A slight crop from the top will strengthen this image. It is good that you took your time in moving closer. Most often people rush close to the bird and succeed in scaring it away. Reminds me or Robert Kappa's words "If your images are not good enough, then you are not close enough".

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

The composition is nice. I would have liked a little less contrast. Thanks for Sharing.
