sun bathing birds

Sun Ray

There are always rainy days,
days were you can't even come to see the sun shine away.
When thunder bares on the days were all you want to see is the sun burst out it's rays; out of the clouds for at least a split second
no matter how much rain can effect our day
we cant let them break the day...those rainy days will just make us appreciate the sunshine of every day!

Nice diagonal composition. A lower angle would have been good. I think these birds are called Stilt. Wish the sun was behind you. Thanks for sharing.

Rakesh, Good photograph. I wish the light was in your side.

It looks like the one in the middle was minding others, while one in the far right was escaping.

Any idea about the bird? TFS

Nice flock. Agree that a lower angle would be lovely.
These are Black winged stilts Himantopus himantopus. One interesting fact: these birds have the highest leg:body length ratio in the avian world.
