The bird is nice and sharp. The droplets at the rear add to the image. I would reduce the background highlights a bit and open the shadows more.

This is a nice image. The water droplets add to the image. It would have been great if the wings were fully up. The bird is slightly angled away from you, however that doesn't take away anything from this image. There is another bird taking off in the background. I know that you have no control over that. However, without that bird, this image would have been further strengthened. Overall, this is a good image.
