The composition is nice. The angle is steep hence the connect with the subject isnt there as much. A lower angle would have been better.

Agree about the steep angle. Was it possible for you to get down a bit? A eye level photograph would have enhanced the composition further. The other animals at the water hole create a nice environment. The eye contact and is nice. Thanks for sharing.
