Its looks annoyed to me, maybe something woke him up :). The eye contact is nice. You can crop just a bit from the right till the tree bark. The texture on the bark look good. Thanks for sharing.

I like the stare. The toe nail (read talon) sticking out is interesting. I would crop a bit from the right. Thanks for sharing.
