I like the composition. How come handheld?
Wish you had got a bit closer. Thanks for sharing.

Bibhav,
The composition is intentional. I got down from the vehicle and focussed on this one. There were others closer to me, however I wanted this composition.

Lovely light here. Nice low angle. I would prefer the egret slightly lower down in the frame.

The whites seem blown on my monitor.

Nice low angle. I liked the pose and details. A agree with Abhishek about a bit more room on the top. Thanks for sharing.

I checked the raw image. The histogram doesn't touch the right frame and the whites are not blown. The whites appeared to be glowing in the morning light. At 100%, there are details but not what one should expect from a Mark IV. After reducing the exposure, more of details are visible. It appears that lot of resolution has been sacrificed by handholding this lens. Even at 1/1600.
Morale of the story: Use bean bag or tripod when using this camera and lens combination.
Cheers,
Sabyasachi
