Photographed this at LRK in November last year.
Info from Salim Ali ed. 13:
The rufous-brown colour and bright rufous tail ending in a black band are diagnostic of the sps. Affects open, stony scrub-and-bush country, ploughed fields, fallow land and cultivation. Zigzags on the ground in short spurts picking up grains and insect food. Stampedes insects out of hiding in the unevennesses on the ground by rapidly flicking open its wings.
Camera Model Name Canon PowerShot SX10 IS
Shooting Mode Aperture-Priority AE
Tv (Shutter Speed) 1/250
Av (Aperture Value) 5.7
ISO Speed 100
PP done here: Cropping, adjustment with the levels, a bit of sharpening.
Thanks, C&C welcome.
