Photographed this Coppersmith Barbet (Megalaima haemacephala) preening, from my terrace today. Late afternoon light.

Seems the light was quite bad. Wish there were more details near the eye area. The vertical branch is a bit distracting, if possible moving to the left to avoid it would have been good. The ruffled feathers are nice.

Exposure if fine. I wish you could have avoided the vertical branch. Moving to the left or moving to the right and top and shooting through the vertical "v" like branch would have been better.
