We were having breakfast at the resort in Ranthambore when I noticed this woodpecker on the tree, took the opportunity to photograph it.

Nice perch and eye contact. The texture on the bark is good. I think you could have placed the tree a bit more to the right, as the space after the tree doesn't add much to the image. A higher aperture would have been great.

I have tried to photograph this bird in Bandipur, but before the jeep stops, it flies off :(.

Eye contact is fine. It looks a bit yellowish. White balance needs to be tweaked a little bit. Thanks for sharing.

I like the colour theme here. Placing the woodpecker in the rule of thirds location would have been better. I might prefer cropping a bit from the bottom to reduce the OOF foliage. Thanks for sharing.
