Created this image in Pune at Kavadi. It was late in the evening and it perched quite close to me on the bridge edge. Wish it was perched on something natural.

Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, 1/80, f5.6, ISO 200, hand held, full frame.

The light looks quite bad. Good job handheld at 1/80 :). I don't find the perch too distracting.

superb shot. love those details and clean BG. A little bit of fill flash might be useful but still your exposer is spot on. Yes i would also prefer it on a natural perch but they do prefer these pillars :). Are you based in pune? would love to meet you in case you are around.
