When you trek the Agastyamalai range this is the place you want to be in.You never want to come back from this place.So quite,serene,cool and breathtaking.There is a waterfalls nearby to add to the wonderful setting.

Canon 400D,18-55IS,ISO400,1/200,9 hand held

Nice greenery. You were already clicking at 18mm. So can't ask for a wider scene. If somehow you could have included more of the foreground at the left, to make it appear as a part of pattern of curves along with the green hill in the middle, then it would have been great. Also, including more of the distant blue hills would have been good.

In this case, the foreground ie. the left side greenery is much brighter than the hill in the middle. Typically, one needs to decide the composition after considering the difference in tonalities. With a graduated Neutral density filter one can experiment. If possible, go down the cliff to get a different perspective, but be safe.

Beautiful place. The greenery is really soothing to the eyes. The light and shadow effect is nice. I think reducing the saturation a bit would be good. Is this a crop?

I like the greens in the image. The highlights in the foreground can be toned down a bit more. Thanks for sharing.
