The raised trunk is interesting. Looks like they were alarmed to see you, since there was a small calf. You could have zoomed out a bit to have some more space on the right and left. The vertical composition is nice. Thanks for sharing.

Nice sighting. I wish to see more of the calf, but not always possible due to the thick vegetation. Not sure if you could have moved slightly to the right without alarming them. Increasing the blacks a bit more, and reducing the fill light slightly will enhance the image.
