Shot this couple of months ago at Kabini, it was nice to see the mother being so protective about the calf.

It is nice to see the calf under the trunk of mom. Some more space at the left and slight at the bottom would be great.

Nice behaviour captured. I undertand it is a bit difficult to compose a wide angle image with a 100-400mm Lens, especially while photographing elephants. The framing is very tight, so just a slight more space makes all the difference :).

The dust cloud is nice. Could you get any images while it was spraying the dust? Thanks for sharing.
