Hi folks

I am posting files @ 190 K and below, yet the images appear much softer on the posts than the originals. This is the 3rd instance after the Pratincole, the reef Egret and the Lapwing above. Any idea what i am messing up here?

regards
Rajan

Did you upload images with one side greater than 800 pixels?

I like the Blurred background and low perspective. Composing with the bird a bit to the right of the frame might have been better. Thanks for sharing.

Nice image. Liked the walking pose and the eye contact.

I checked the image it was 799 pixels on the longest side. The software resized the image since it was more than 800 pixels. So there is a drop in quality. I think it will be good if you can set the longest edge to 800 pixels in the software while processing the images, so you wont face this problem.
Thanks for sharing.

Rajan,
Nice low angle and pose. I agree with Mrudul, that you have uploaded a larger file size and hence the drop in quality. You can repost with a lower size.

Cheers,
