100 Plus Cormorants

Cormorants took off from the water after a rest. The group fishing of cormorants was a sight to watch. I have also seen other birds, Pelicans and Little grebe also joining the group. This photograph was taken at Singanallur Lake, Coimbatore.

I like the pano crop here. Correcting the horizon tilt would be nice. There seems to be one white bird in flight with them too... No black sheep here :)

I wonder how long will you be able to get these pictures from Singanallur tank. It is shrinking day by day and getting polluted beyond imaginable levels in an ill-conceived effort of 'modernizing' Coimbatore.
