This is just across a river by the side of the road from Mudumalai to Gudalur.I could see some adivasis fishing without giving any regard for this fellow just across the river!

The raised trunk adds interest to the image. The dense vegetation displays the habitat nicely. If possible you could have tried to move a bit more to the left to get the eye in clear. Looks like the light was quite bad. You could have tried ISO 800 so you could have got a bit higher shutter speed of 1/30. Thanks for sharing.

The raised trunk is nice. The shutter speed was pretty low. Hence, the image is not sharp. If one knows animal behaviour, then one can know when it is annoyed. It is difficult to outrun an elephant as its top speed is about 40 kmph. Thanks for sharing.

The habitat of the elephant is shown nicely. Wish the eye was more visible. The shutterspeed was low due to which the sharpness is low as pointed out by Mrudul and Sabyasachi. Thanks for sharing.
