Wish we keep on watching the sight of Open billed storks in our fields. 1/1000 th of second is sufficient to capture these sharp. The challenge is to get them close. The image would be strong if the bird were flying towards you ie. into the frame rather than away from the frame. Keep on trying. Thanks for sharing.

Nice catch, yes these storks are quickly vanishing. However I have seen quite a few regularly on the outskirts of Mysore. Agree about have a close shot.
