I think it is Forest Calotes. The pose and the eye contact is nice. You could have used a further narrow aperture. The bg is nice and clean. Thanks for sharing.

Praveen, Very good photograph.

I think this is a Peninsular Rock Agama and South Indian Rock Agama (Psammophilus dorsalis). This is a male. Males in the breeding season assumes bright colours, but not this one. Females are marbled in colour and in general very well camouflaged than males.

These cold blooded reptiles bask in the morning sunlight and attain required body temperature to enable other activities.

These reptiles move between rocks and fed on insects.

Nice. I would like a bit more space to the top. There is an OOF part at the left, what is it? There also seems to be some noise.

I agree it's a peninsular rock agama.

Agree that this is a rock agama. The composition looks good. I see some noise in the background. Thanks for sharing.
