Just got back from Bandhavgarh. Amazing Tiger sightings. 15 Sightings in 3 days. This young Tigress posed for us for nearly 1 hour, near Ras-behera dam.
I had a tough time tackling the grass since focusing was getting bit difficult.
The tigress was irritated by the Lap wing :) She was trying to stalk some deer nearby but the Lap wing created chaos whenever she got into stalking position. I liked the colours of landscape.

The irritated look on the tigress face conveys the message. The habitat displayed is nice. Liked the composition. ISO 400-500 would have been good to give a slight higher shutter speed. Look forward to more from Bandhavgarh. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely. 15 sighting in 3 days is great. Lapwings are often aggressive and irritate larger mamals. May be its eggs or chicks would be nearby. The image captures both with the lapwings beak open. It tells a story.

This place is nice. In the '70s there used to be villages in that place. Afte shifting of villages, the place has become a fine grassland.

Cheers,

Nice image. The irritation shows. :)
Lapwings and Langurs act as early alarm systems as they create a lot of noise when a predator approaches... This is nicely portrayed here. Thanks for sharing.
