Nice head turn and eye contact. I liked the open beak. I can see a bit of over exposure on the left bottom (not sure viewing from a different computer), you can try to recover the details. The colours are nice. Thanks for sharing.

You are right about the left bottom being over exposed. Actually I didn't really care about that as I was looking more at the bird than the lower bottom corner !!! :-)

Hi Sudipto,
Beautiful bird. Is this a big crop? What was the ISO? A higher shutter speed would have been better in terms of sharpness. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.

Cheers,

Yes it is about 50 per cent crop. ISO was 400. Thanks for your comments.

Yes the left bottom doesn't distract much, just thought of letting you know.

A nice bird. I agree about the image looking a bit soft due to the crop.

Lovely bird. One of my favourites :). I agree the quality has gone down due to the crop. Agree about the over exposed lower left corner. It's tough to get a correctly exposed scene with these birds. I have tried photographing them several times, but almost all the shots have overexposed bits. :-P
