Saw her on my last day in bandavgarh. It was an amazing sighting as there was lot of action in that area on that morning. She was in a mood to make a kill and was trying to stalk and suddenly jackal appeared from opposite direction and tried to chase herd of deer and hence deer became alert and our lady missed it.

Canon 7D Canon 100-400 IS

Looking forward to some valuable critique.

Thanks,

Neil

Nice environment photograph. I liked the eye contact and the raised paw. You could have used a narrower aperture. I think increasing the brightness (as per my monitor)a bit would be better. Thanks for sharing.

Neil,
The eye contact is good. The composition is nice as well. You have to work on the white balance. The overall image looks a bit orange. The image also needs to be a bit brighter. I am not sure why it doesn't look sharp. The shutter speed is much more than adequate for getting a sharp image. Please revisit your processing. Did you shoot it in RAW?

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Well composed and good eye contact!

A tiny bit of brightness will make it appealing :)
