Blue-bearded Bee-eater (Nyctyornis athertoni) taken at Anaikatti, near Coimbatore. The bird was well camouflaged, sitting in the green tree in between the bright flowers. It was also a bit steep and high from me when this bird was photographed.
Camera: Panasonic
Model: DMC-FZ28

Lovely bird, I like the diagonal perch. Due the bright bg the bird doesn't stand out. Is this a big crop as there is loss of details.

I agree with Praveen. I like the colours. The vegetation has come out well. The head turn is nice. Beautiful bird. There is some detail loss. Thanks for sharing.

A very colourful image. The perch and the eye contact is nice. A display of the habitat. Wish you were a bit closer. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Wish it were closer to you. The crop has caused detail loss. Nice composition. Lovely bird. TFS.

Great bird, but loss of detail and lots of noise in the image.
